Hi, I’m Mridul Agarwal and I’m originally from Mumbai, India. I earned an MBA in International Business & Finance from the University of the West of Scotland and a bachelor’s in accounting & finance from the University of Mumbai. This fall I began the Master of Accounting (MAcc) program at the Ross School of Business (Class of 2026), an intensive eight-month STEM-designated curriculum. I also serve as the Vice President of the MAcc Executive Board, helping organize events and connect my classmates as we embark on this journey together.
I’m also actively pursuing professional accounting credentials. I earned the U.S. Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation, a globally recognized credential and I’m a CPA exam candidate (I received eligibility in Aug 2025 and plan to take the REG exam in Jan 2026). I’m an ACCA (UK- Based Chartered accountant) as well, reflecting the years I invested in this rigorous global qualification. All of these experiences have broadened my expertise and prepared me for a successful career in accounting and finance.
In my free time, I love playing and watching cricket and listening to Bollywood music. I enjoy traveling the world and experiencing new cultures whenever I can. I’m passionate about helping prospective students having navigated the application and admissions process myself, I know it can be overwhelming. Please feel free to reach out with any questions about the MAcc program or admissions; I’d love to connect and share my insights. Go Blue!
