Nicholas Trinh
My name is Nicholas Trinh, and I’m a seasoned financial services and capital markets executive with over 18 years of experience driving innovation, operational excellence, and revenue growth across mortgage banking, securitization and structured finance. In my current role in the Structured Products group within the Treasury & Capital Markets division at Fannie Mae, I lead, manage, and advise on re-securitization transactions of mortgage‑backed securities (MBS). My work sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution — overseeing complex securitizations, spearheading high‑impact technology initiatives, nurturing strategic client relationships, and developing top‑performing teams.
I bring a rare combination of strategic vision, operational and technological expertise, and emotionally intelligent leadership. I’m passionate about building systems, teams, and solutions that elevate performance and expand what’s possible in capital markets.
In addition to an MBA from Ross, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Washington and Lee University, a Master of Science in Finance from the College of William & Mary, and a Master of Science in Law from Cornell Law School. My academic and professional journey reflects a commitment to continuous learning and to expanding the breadth and depth of my impact in the financial sector. The Ross OMBA program, in particular, provided a powerful blend of flexibility, rigor, and community — shaping my leadership approach and strengthening my ability to navigate complex, evolving markets.
I’m always happy to connect with fellow alumni and prospective students, share my experience, and support others in their professional or educational journeys. Don’t hesitate to reach out.
