Pai-Yun (Sophia) Cheng
Prior to Ross, I spent about five years at Ernst & Young working on compliance projects and forensic accounting, helping companies strengthen integrity and ethical practices. While I enjoyed the challenges and dynamic nature of the role, I became eager to explore bigger markets and immerse myself in different cultures.
Ross stood out to me for its collaborative culture and action-based learning approach. As a people-driven person, building strong and genuine connections has been a priority for me as I settle into a new country. Throughout the application process and after arriving in Ann Arbor, the support I received from the Ross community has empowered me to pursue my goals. I feel fortunate to be part of such an inspiring environment, and I’m excited to pay it forward by serving as a student ambassador. Ross’s emphasis on experiential learning and its wealth of career resources have already exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to sharing these opportunities with prospective students.
Outside of school, I’m an animal lover, a badminton enthusiast, and a passionate home cook. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your journey. Go Blue!
