Pawan Thampi

Post-MBA I worked in Strategy Consulting for 8 years of which 5 years were in the Private Equity Due Diligence group at PRTM/Strategy& (formerly Booz & Co). I then transitioned out of consulting by joining the Corporate Strategy/M&A team at Fortune Brands Home & Security, a building products manufacturer. I also spent 2 years as Director of Strategy at TransUnion where I managed a team responsible for monthly demand forecasts, annual/3-year planning and new business development. After 14 years in corporate roles, I recently decided to try a different path as an entrepreneur. I founded an advisory firm called PMZ Consulting which helps corporations and small/medium businesses identify growth opportunities within the industrial manufacturing space.

During my time at Ross, I split time between the General Management club and the Consulting club. The environment at Ross challenged me in more ways than I imagined possible and prepared me for my post-MBA career. I enjoy meeting Ross alums from all over the world and look forward to welcoming new members to the Ross network.
