Pruthvi Kuppam

Hi, I'm Pruthvi, a part of the vibrant Weekend MBA 2027 cohort! I'm originally from Hyderabad, India but have been living in the Detroit metro area since 2016. (Did you already guess that my background is in the automotive industry?!)

Prior to Ross, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and a Master's in Automotive Engineering from Clemson University. I currently lead system design activities for a Tier 1 automotive supplier, driving product development for electrified vehicle components. I've always been passionate about engineering and never imagined myself pursuing an MBA degree at the beginning of my career. However, my inspiration to pursue an MBA degree stemmed from the curiosity to learn and understand how to successfully grow and manage products. 

The Weekend MBA program at Ross was the most attractive option for me considering course structure, the action-based learning format, the strong career development support, the Ross community, the breadth of options to explore via Ross, and also convenience of being a local resident. I'm humbled to be a part of this incredible community of leaders and happy to share insights from my journey thus far.
