Ritvik Sharma

I grew up in India's diamond city Surat and pursued engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. After graduating, I joined ZS Associates in their Decision Analytics practice, where I spent seven years partnering with sales and marketing leadership at leading pharmaceutical firms. My work focused on using data and analytics to guide commercial strategy for blockbuster Oncology and Hematology drugs. 

Over time, I realized that while I enjoyed solving business problems with data, what truly motivated me was the opportunity to improve patient outcomes and access to treatments. To build the general management skills and develop a comprehensive understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem, I chose Ross. I was drawn not only to Ross’s Healthcare Management concentration and action-based learning opportunities, but also to the collaborative, supportive culture I experienced firsthand in my conversations with current students.
