Sam Laidlaw

I am a 2021 graduate of the Weekend MBA program at Ross and currently work as an account manager and software consultant at Atomic Object, based right here in Ann Arbor. I am an innovation-driven leader with over a decade of experience across various industries. My career has involved working with cross-functional teams and executives in product, innovation, strategic leadership, and digital transformation to bring visions to life. 

When I joined Ross, I was working as a tech strategist at Ford Motor Company and wanted to leverage the WMBA program to figure out the next step in my career. I sought this program out specifically for the world class network and Professors in the program, the resources that Ross provides, and the caliber of the cohort that the Weekend program attracts. Since graduating from Ross in 2021 I've been able to make several moves into the consulting world at EY and most recently, at Atomic Object.

Throughout my career, I have embraced various roles including product manager, innovation consultant, people leader, and tech strategist. I specialize in developing enterprise strategies and creating digital products that resonate with users. My extensive experience includes leading product teams, driving growth and adoption, and integrating an experience-led approach to achieve impactful outcomes. I am known for my forward-thinking attitude, strong organizational management skills, and preference for building trust and connections with people.
