Samuel
Hi! My name is Sam , and I’m a first year student at the Ross School of Business from Marquette, Michigan. Growing up in a small town in the Upper Peninsula, I developed a strong appreciation for community, hard work, and the outdoors. I’ve been ski racing since I was five years old, and the discipline and resilience the sport has taught me continue to shape how I approach both academics and leadership at Michigan.
At Ross, I’ve loved becoming part of such a collaborative and driven community. Through my section and core classes, I’ve built close friendships with peers who constantly push me to grow. Outside the classroom, I’m involved in a couple of clubs and am especially interested in renewable energy and community-focused investing.
One of my favorite parts of Ross is how supportive and accessible everyone is, from professors to upperclassmen mentors. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of this community and would be happy to share more about my experience at Michigan and Ross. Go Blue!
