Sanjeet Choudhary Kakarla

Hi, I’m Sanjeet! In undergrad, I led my college’s automotive club, where we built electric vehicles and raced nationally. That experience sparked my interest in the business side of mobility and led me to ARGA, where I spent about 5 years in equity research covering the global automotive sector with a focus on the EV transition.

Now, I’m an MBA candidate at Michigan Ross, pivoting into investment banking. Equity research gave me a strong foundation in analyzing companies and industries, but what excited me most were the conversations with management teams and the chance to see strategy in action, which is why I’m drawn to the deal side.

Outside of work, I founded a social initiative removing plastic waste from waterbodies and directing proceeds toward rebuilding homes in slum communities. And in my free time, I love playing soccer, tennis, and ultimate frisbee. I’ve tried stand-up comedy, though I’m never sure if they laugh at my jokes or me.
