Sarah Noor Adilla

Class of 2027

Greetings!

I’m Sarah, born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. I studied Management with a Finance concentration at the University of Indonesia and jumped straight into consulting after graduation in 2016.

I started with PwC Strategy& working on big-picture transformations for state-owned enterprises, and later moved to PwC Deals Strategy & Operations to explore inorganic growth. Most of my time was spent on market entry, due diligence, and post-merger integration.

Why have I stayed in consulting this long? Honestly, because the learning curve never stops and every project brings something new. I love that mix of constant challenge and the chance to work with brilliant people. Before moving into a more senior role, I wanted to take a step back, strengthen my leadership skills, and learn in a new environment. Ross felt right for three reasons: the warm, international bubble of people who genuinely enjoy learning together, the strong consulting foundation that sharpens my problem-solving toolkit, and the cozy Ann Arbor setting where I can both focus and recharge.

Relocating here has been way more fun than I expected—I even enjoyed the whole essay and interview process. The community has been incredible so far: everyone comes from such different backgrounds, takes academics seriously, but also knows how to have fun. People are genuinely supportive and always check in on each other. If you are an international student and a bit nervous about moving to the U.S., Ross and Ann Arbor feel like home, with both the warmth of the community and the nature that surrounds it.

Let’s connect, and let me know how I can support. Go Blue!
