Scott Schenkelberg
Hi, I'm Scott Schenkelberg, a graduate of the OMBA program at the Ross School of Business. I'm a Nebraskan born and raised who has gone on to explore the world. I received my my Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2017 and joined Emerson upon graduation. I spent a year working in both Atlanta, Georgia and Shanghai, China in a variety of roles ranging including Strategic Planning, Marketing, Business Development, and Project Management before moving to St. Louis, Missouri where I worked in Operations and Corporate Strategic Planning.
I started the OMBA program in the Fall of 2020 while I was working in St. Louis. Over the next two years, I juggled work and personal life with the demands of a top notch MBA program. While challenging at times, I would not change the experience for anything. Through student clubs such as the OMBA Council and Out for Business I grew my network and met incredible people along the way. The US and international residencies along with MAP put my classroom learnings to the test in ways other courses had not. In September 2022, I joined Roland Berger as a Senior Consultant in the Chicago, Illinois office. I would not have found my way to consulting nor to Roland Berger without the U-M network.
Outside of work, I am an avid traveler and have been fortunate enough to have visited over 60 countries and all 7 continents, even spending New Year's on Antarctica! In my free time, I love to be outdoors, research my family history, and continue to perfect my bread-making abilities - a COVID-learned skill. Feel free to reach out with any questions you have about my experience or anything you'd like to chat about!
