Sivashankar Damodharan

Hello! I’m Sivashankar (Shiva), Class of 2026 at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. I bring 15 years of experience across sustainable energy, strategy consulting, and technology leadership. I currently oversee renewable energy operations at NorthStar Clean Energy, where I focus on driving meaningful impact in the clean energy sector. Prior to this, I led an Anti–Money Laundering product team at Standard Chartered Bank, building strategic solutions at the intersection of technology and business.

During my MBA, I had the opportunity to partner with Amazon through the MAP program, evaluating and recommending HVAC decarbonization strategies for their global operations. It was a rewarding chance to bridge academic insights with real-world challenges while collaborating with peers from a wide range of industries.

As VP of Careers for the Energy Club, I’ve enjoyed helping fellow students explore and advance their paths in the energy space. One of the things I value most about Ross is its flexibility—WMBA students have full access to the same world-class resources, facilities, and recruiting opportunities as any other MBA student.
