Sonakshi Thusoo

I grew up in India and completed my undergraduate degree in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. Over the past 7 years, I’ve built my career in technology and operations, working at Accenture and National Australia Bank with clients in the QSR, CPG, telecom, and banking industries.

I began my career at Accenture, where I spent 6 years implementing technology solutions for global clients ranging from upgrading enterprise payments and F&B systems to automating billing processes and improving sales reporting across national retailers. Most recently at National Australia Bank, I led a large-scale cloud migration for banking technologies. These experiences helped me realize that I thrive at the intersection of technology and business, and sparked my ambition to transition into management consulting.

I chose Ross for its unique blend of action-based learning, leadership development, and a truly collaborative culture. Resources like the Consulting Club, Tech Club, and Sanger Leadership Center provide ample opportunities to grow, but what impressed me most was the community - peers who are ambitious yet genuinely supportive. For me, Ross is the perfect environment to push myself intellectually while developing as a leader alongside an inspiring cohort.

Outside of work, I am a fitness enthusiast who enjoys hiking and dance, and Ross’ Outdoor Club has been a great way to keep my adventurous side alive.
