Sophia Huq McGuinness

Hi, I’m Sophia Huq McGuinness, a proud MBA graduate of Michigan Ross's Weekend MBA Program from 2025. I’m an experienced strategist with a global mindset and a deep passion for emerging mobility, technology, supply chain, and advanced manufacturing. I currently lead strategy for the supply chain organization at Wisk, where I’m focused on advancing sustainable mobility and helping to build innovation ecosystems that can shape the future.

At Ross, I’ve focused on the Marketing Strategy, Operations, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) pathways, which have deepened my ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and evaluate strategic growth opportunities. During my time in the program, I also supported global consulting projects, including a green tech and AI incubator launching in Ireland for my MAP project and consulted an online corporate training company based in London as part of my Marketing Strategy course.

Before Ross, I spent several years at Boeing, where I gained cross-functional experience in innovation strategy, finance, government relations, and corporate venture capital. I’ve developed expertise in startup due diligence across mobility, sustainability, AI/ML, and autonomy. I hold dual Bachelor’s degrees in Supply Chain Management and International Relations from Michigan State University, along with Spanish proficiency and study abroad experience in China.
