Taelee Kim Merritt

Hi everyone, my name is Coco Merritt and I’m a BBA concentrating in Finance and minoring in Real Estate. I’m originally from Los Angeles, CA and have lived there my entire life which means in my free time I love trips to the beach, warm weather, and time outside. 

Even though Michigan was my dream school, coming out of state with no one in my family having gone here, it was a big transition for me, but ultimately the best decision I’ve ever made. I dreamed of a Big 10, work-hard play-hard environment that would push me academically and grow personally. Michigan, and Ross specifically, has been nothing short of that. The opportunities here are endless and the growth you will experience is unlimited. 

Here on campus I’m on the E-Board for Michigan Business Women, a club all about exposing women to the opportunities in all sectors of business. I’m also in the Society of Women in Finance and Banking at Michigan, and a Sports Writer for the Michigan Daily. Lastly, I take part in the Michigan Sport Business Conference each year as an intern, as I hope to one day have a career in sports that intersects with finance; one of my biggest passions in the sport, media, and entertainment industry!
