Tanawin Lin

Class of 2027

This is Tanawin (Net) Lin, and I was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. I studied Industrial Engineering at Thammasat University, where I discovered my passion for combining technology with business to solve real-world challenges.

Before Ross, I worked in e-commerce and tech startups, starting at Lazada (Alibaba Group) and later at Q-CHANG, a home services marketplace. At Lazada, I led category strategy for Home & Living, managing thousands of sellers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience. At Q-CHANG, I took on broader leadership, launching new services, expanding into B2B, and helping build a more transparent platform for contractors and customers.

My long-term goal is to build a tech-driven service marketplace in Southeast Asia that empowers small businesses and creates meaningful opportunities for local communities. I hope to apply what I learn at Ross to scale sustainable solutions that bridge technology, operations, and people.

At Ross, I am focusing on Marketing, Technology, and Business Analytics. I joined the Marketing Club, Tech Club, and Business+Tech. I chose Ross for its collaborative culture, hands-on learning opportunities, and alumni network that will prepare me to lead in a global, tech-driven world.

Outside of the classroom, I’ve been enjoying Ann Arbor’s welcoming community, great coffee shops, and vibrant campus spirit. It’s truly a special place to live and learn. If you’re considering Ross, I’d be happy to share more about my journey and answer any questions—please feel free to reach out!
