Thomas Plummer

Class of 2027

I'm a Michigan Ross MBA candidate pursuing a career in manufacturing Leadership Development Programs. Prior to Ross, I served as a Nuclear Power School Instructor, teaching nuclear physics in the rigorous training pipeline for aircraft carriers and submarines. This experience not only taught me how to lead cross-functional teams, but also gave me the incredible opportunity to make a personal impact on hundreds of students' lives.

I chose to return to the University of Michigan for my MBA because of its strong general management track record, and the supportive culture among students. The amazing student life and the unique energy of Big House football is a cherry on top. Ross provides the resources, network, and hands-on learning opportunities that are essential for my career goals.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy exploring Ann Arbor and spending time with my classmates. Catch me watching football or fishing with my time off. I'm happy to share more about my journey from to business school, so feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
