Tolani Ekeolere-Landar

Class of 2027

Before Ross, I spent several years as an interior design entrepreneur in Lagos, Nigeria, where I co-founded a furniture and interior design company. In this role, I led projects that combined creativity and business-strategy, designing spaces, managing client relationships, and overseeing operations. Most recently, our company partnered with a Lagos-based wholesale furniture store to expand our offerings and scale our impact.

Outside of work, I love to read African literature, poetry, and books on feminism. I’m also a proud dog mom of three and enjoy painting, writing poetry,  traveling, candle making, and wine tastings. These creative outlets give me energy and balance alongside my professional journey.

I chose Ross for its action-based learning, collaborative and close-knit community, and the strong support it provides for career switchers and entrepreneurs. My goal is to pivot into product management, where I can merge my design and entrepreneurial background with technology to build tools that empower architects and designers in emerging economies.

Feel free to reach out if you’re curious about design, entrepreneurship, books, or life at Ross—I’d be happy to connect!
