Tory Zollinger

Class of 2027

Hi, I’m Tory Zollinger, a Full-Time MBA candidate (Class of 2027) at Michigan Ross and a member of the Tauber Institute for Global Operations.

Before Ross, I earned my bachelors degree in Geospatial Information Science from the United States Military Academy, and afterward I served as an Engineer Officer in the United States Army for eight years. In the Army, I served in various roles focused on geospatial engineering and construction management. I also learned to integrate cross-functional teams and accomplish missions well beyond my own skillset. While I thoroughly enjoyed my experiences in the Army, I decided to pivot to the civilian sector to pursue my goal to work in the operations/supply chain sector in the manufacturing industry.

I moved to Michigan with my family, including my spouse and two children, and chose Ross in large part because of the amazing community, both at Ross itself and in Ann Arbor as a whole. I have been delighted in the relationships I have built with my classmates and the way in which my family has been integrated into the program and activities.

From an academic standpoint, Ross has been an equally incredible experience, with professors and staff that care deeply about your success. Ross is certainly more than a factory for business leaders, it is a home and family where we come to grow, learn, and succeed together.
