Varun Teja Kurada

I currently live in the Austin, TX area and come from a strong technology background with nearly a decade of experience, spanning from startups to global conglomerates. My academic journey began with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science in India, followed by a Master’s in the same field from Pace University and most recently, a Postgraduate program in AI/ML at UT Austin. 

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in collaborative environment with cross-functional teams across different geographic regions. I’ve taken on roles such as Lead Developer, Product Manager, Technical Project Manager and Consultant, helping transform complex challenges into meaningful solutions in e-commerce, retail, supply chain, healthcare and luxury sectors.

I chose the Ross MBA program because I was drawn to its action-based learning approach, emphasis on leadership development and the diverse, supportive community. The program’s focus on real-world impact and its outstanding network of changemakers made it the perfect fit for my aspirations to combine technology, strategy and leadership. My favorite part of Ross is the collaborative spirit that inspires everyone to push their boundaries. The opportunity to learn from classmates, faculty and mentors who are just as passionate about making a positive difference as I am, is what truly sets Ross apart.
