Class of 2027

I am originally from New York City but moved to Detroit after graduating from college to join General Motors as a mechanical engineer. I had always been fascinated with the way cars worked for as long as I could remember, so it was a dream come true to see vehicles coming off of the assembly line and prototype cars racing around the test tracks. Although I thoroughly enjoyed the precision and technical aspects of automotive engineering, I found that my true interest lied in the inherent curiosity of the field; understanding why certain design decisions were made and how these products fit into the company's future vision.

This is what led me to business school and more specifically, to Ross. Having already been in Michigan for a few years, I had already heard of the school but it wasn't until I did some research that I realized how great of a fit it would be for me. As an engineer, I value practical application a lot, and I think that is really what makes Ross unique, along with it's strong community and national reach. There are also a lot of opportunities to be involved with the greater University of Michigan community, which is also unique in itself.

Outside of my professional life, I find myself spending time working out, getting outdoors, and playing the piano. I know that the application process can be stressful, but I am excited to pass down my learnings to future Rossers, so feel free to reach out if you have questions about the process or just business school in general!
