Vladimir Stewart
I’m originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo and moved to the U.S. when I was eight years old. I attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County for undergrad, and before business school I worked as a Consultant at Deloitte, supporting digital transformation projects across industries such as media & entertainment, manufacturing, and aerospace & defense.
I decided to pursue an MBA to build on my experience in software implementation, deepen my understanding of business fundamentals, and focus on finance. During the MBA application process, what really stood out to me about Ross was the people, the collaborative culture, and the strength of the alumni network. Every Ross alum I met went out of their way to help me, connect me with their network, and share advice. That genuine community is exactly the kind of support I hope to provide to prospective students as they navigate their own journeys.
Outside of school, I’m a big sports fan — cheering for the Oklahoma City Thunder, PSG, the Green Bay Packers, and of course, the Michigan Wolverines! I also enjoy staying active by playing basketball. If you have any questions or just want to connect, feel free to reach out!
