Yale Loucks

Yale Loucks, Jr.

Class of 2025

Hi, I’m Yale, a member of the Weekend MBA Class of 2025 at Michigan Ross.

Before Ross, I built my career leading large-scale operations at Amazon, managing frontline teams and supporting major facility launches. I later transitioned to Ally Financial, where I focused on operational risk and strategy, partnering with leaders across investments, new products, and governance initiatives.

I chose Ross for the people and the network, and for a program grounded in practical leadership rather than theory alone. During my time here, I traveled internationally through MAP and a global trek, worked with the Zell Lurie Institute on entrepreneurship and innovation, developed my leadership through the Ross Leadership Academy, and served as a nonprofit board fellow. These experiences broadened how I think about strategy, impact, and leading through uncertainty.

What I value most about Ross is the accessibility of the community. Whether you are exploring consulting, entrepreneurship, or making a career pivot, someone is always willing to help.

Outside of work, I enjoy sports, trying new food spots, and spending time with friends.

If you are considering Ross or want an honest perspective on the Weekend MBA experience, feel free to reach out. Happy to chat. Go Blue!
