Applied Venture Capital Investing --- This course is intended for students who have an interest in learning about venture capital from a practitioner's perspective. The course will focus on the life-cycle of venture capital investing starting with how to raise a venture capital fund as well as setting a venture capital fund strategy. The course will then cover venture capital investment evaluation and due diligence including financial analyses. The course will simulate the day-to-day life of a venture capitalist and give the students the opportunity to identify, conduct due diligence, and propose an investment in a startup company.
