Behavioral Decision Making --- Executives need to understand how rational actors behave under various economic conditions and constraints. They also need to understand how real people, with imperfect attention and limited cognitive capacity, actually make decisions. This course will bolster students' ability to make decisions effectively and to create environments that encourage others to make better decisions. By applying relevant insights from psychology, sociology, and behavioral economics, students will learn how to shape decisions by employees, customers, counterparts in other organizations, and the public at large. Essentially, the goal is to help students become "choice architects."
