Real Estate Financial Modeling --- Financial analysis is a critical component of real estate investing, one required by most stakeholders in a real estate investment transaction. Buyers and investors must determine deal check size and profitability. Sellers must determine how to price an asset for sale. Lenders must determine what interest rate to charge and loan size. This course will focus on helping students build real estate financial modeling skills in Excel and Argus using case studies across asset classes. The class will cover model architecture, input selection, output analysis and, ultimately, investment decision-making. Real estate financial modeling is an important skill for anyone planning to pursue a career in the real estate investment industry.
