Round 2 Decision Release, Extended Round 3 Deadline
We are living in uncertain and unprecedented times. Responses to the COVID-19 pandemic by governments, companies, and institutions have been changing daily.
Like many schools across the country, the Ross School of Business is adhering to the University of Michigan’s decision to cancel all events on campus and move all classes online until at least April 21.
In the midst of all this uncertainty, we have been encouraged by the talent and ambitions of our Round 2 applicants and the excitement of our Round 1 incoming students. We began calls to U.S. admits on March 16, and look forward to calling international admits on March 17. Be sure to look out for a call from a “734” area code. All Round 2 decisions will be released at 12 p.m. EDT on March 18.
Applicants who were waitlisted in Round 1 were re-reviewed in Round 2. Those who are admitted will receive a call on the same day as other Round 2 admits. Those who don’t receive a call on March 16 or 17 will remain on the waitlist or be denied. We will email all candidates still on the waitlist a link to a form to provide any updates. We will review waitlisted applications again with the Round 3 pool.
Round 3 Deadline Extended
Due to the impact that COVID-19 has had on GMAT/GRE testing opportunities, we are extending our Round 3 deadline. The priority deadline will remain March 30, but we will accept applications until May 29. Applications received after the priority deadline will be evaluated on a rolling basis. International applicants are highly encouraged to apply by the priority deadline in order to ensure enough time for visas to be processed. For application tips, check out our Round 3 admissions webinar. If you have questions, please email [email protected].
We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well during this time.
