Phew! You hit “submit.” Your Ross MBA application is under review.

Now that your application is in, I wanted to let you know what is happening with it and when you can expect to hear back from us.

The admissions team is currently conducting “first reads” of applications. This means reviewing applications to determine who to invite for Round 1 interviews. We anticipate the invitations for alumni-led evaluative interviews will be sent the week of October 14.

All interviews this year are being conducted virtually by Ross alums, with a limited number being conducted by admissions officers. After the interview period, applicants will also receive an additional evaluation. This evaluation will determine the status outcome of your application. If you are admitted, we will call you on Wednesday or Thursday, December 4-5, with official admit information sent via email on Friday, December 6. As always, there is no special order to the calls other than our efforts to be mindful of time zones.

Round 1 applicants who are not invited to interview will receive either a “waitlist” or “deny” decision on December 6.

If your application is still a work in progress, never fear: you still have time to apply this year. The deadline for Round 2 is January 6, and the deadline for Round 3 is March 24. Watch our video series for application tips
