Next Steps for Round 1 Applicants

🎉 You did it: you hit “submit”! Your Ross MBA application is officially in our hands and under review. What happens now? 

The admissions team is currently conducting “first reads” of applications. This means reviewing applications to determine who to invite for Round 1 interviews. We anticipate sending invitations for evaluative interviews the week of Oct. 13. Interviews will be led by alumni, current students, and possibly admissions staff. 

All interviews this year are being conducted virtually. After the interview period, applicants will also receive an additional evaluation, which will determine the status outcome of their application. If you are admitted, we will call you on Wednesday or Thursday, Dec. 3-4, with official admit information sent via email on Friday, Dec. 5. As always, there is no special order to the calls other than our efforts to be mindful of time zones. 

Round 1 applicants who are not invited to interview will receive either a “waitlist” or “deny” decision on Dec. 5. 

If your application is still a work in progress, never fear: you still have time to apply this year. The deadline for Round 2 is Jan. 5, and the deadline for Round 3 is March 23. Watch our video series for application tips.
