Next Steps for Round 2 Applicants
As we celebrate the end of one year and the beginning of another, it’s a wonderful time to reflect, recharge, and refocus on achieving personal and professional goals.
In the spirit of that renewed energy, I would like to congratulate those who have submitted their applications by the Round 2 deadline. The Michigan Ross admissions team is here to support you every step of the way. We are currently conducting “first reads” of applications to determine who to invite for our Round 2 interviews. We anticipate that the invitations for alumni- and student-led evaluative virtual interviews will be sent out in late January to early February.
What to Expect
If you are admitted, we will call you the week of March 9, with official admit information sent via email on Friday, March 13.
As always, there is no special order to the calls other than our efforts to be mindful of time zones. Round 2 applicants who are not admitted will receive either a “waitlist” or “deny” decision.
Resources for Completing Your Application
If your application is still a work in progress, don’t worry: you still have time to apply. Our final deadline for Round 3 is March 23. To help you complete your application, we have a range of resources available to support you, including:
- Our quick tips video series, designed to help answer your application questions.
- Our admissions blogs, where we touch on key aspects of the application, including how qualified candidates can submit a Statement of Quantitative Academic Readiness in lieu of a GMAT/GRE score.
- Business Beyond Usual, our student-run podcast that covers topics from financing your MBA to what it’s like to live here in Ann Arbor.
- And student stories about the experiences of our current Full-Time MBAs and their advice for prospective students like you.
We also hold regular admissions events where you can speak directly with our team and learn more about how a Ross MBA can transform your career.
I hope you’ve had a restful holiday season and wish you the best of luck with your MBA journey this year. Go Blue!
