You get that amazing message…”Congratulations on your admission to the Michigan Ross Part-Time MBA Program!”

What do you do next?

If you are admitted into our Part-Time MBA Programs, we have a few tips to share with you as you begin your new chapter and look to the months ahead:

Connect and Engage Early: Start building your Ross network now! Join our admitted student events: including Virtual Google Group Hangouts, engage with your future classmates on our Slack Channel, and don’t miss the chance to participate in Welcome Weekend/Go Blue Weekend events. These opportunities will help you get off to a good start before classes begin.  They’ll help you build meaningful relationships and lay the foundation for a supportive, collaborative, and rewarding MBA experience.

Plan Ahead: Meet with our graduate academic advisors to map out your course schedule. Take time to plan your calendar around class sessions, study periods, and personal commitments. It’s also a good idea to connect with your employer early to discuss any adjustments you might need, like flexible hours or personal days to ensure you can thrive both professionally and academically.

Prepare Academically: Take advantage of resources designed to set you up for success! Michigan Ross offers a Quantitative Readiness Course, perfect for refreshing or strengthening your foundational quantitative skills before the program begins. If you haven’t taken it already, you can take advantage of this resource to make your transition smoother and help you feel confident heading into your studies.
