Student Stories

Daniel Gerding, Global Semester Exchange Participant at Nanyang Business School in Singapore
"My time as an exchange student at Nanyang Business School was without a doubt one of the biggest highlights of my entire MBA experience. I easily assimilated into the Nanyang Technological University community and found the coursework and interaction with fellow students to be incredibly rewarding. The coursework was not only a great complement to my previous coursework at the University of Michigan, but also provided unique context from the perspective of Singapore and the rest of Southeast Asia."
Henrique Brenner, Global Semester Exchange Participant at Hong Kong University of Science & Technology
“My experience [in Hong Kong] was just amazing and very transformational. It is hard to describe it with words just as it is hard to explain Asia’s history, culture and relevance in a few paragraphs. But it certainly took my MBA experience to the next level. The MBA at Ross, with its collaborative approach, exposed me from the very beginning to various cultures and taught me how to work with differences. The semester exchange experience exposed me to a completely different environment, where I learned not only to respect and work with differences, but also to embrace difference and its role in other societies.”
