Deanna Arrieta-Murphy
Deanna Arrieta-Murphy joined the Executive Education program at Michigan Ross in 2026 and serves as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Education Officer. In this role, she provides administrative and project management support to the CEEO and Executive Education Leadership Team, as well as supporting the office management needs of the department.
She has been with the University of Michigan for over 12 years. Prior to joining Ross, Deanna worked at the University of Michigan Medical School as a Senior Training Specialist, where she trained standardized patients to test medical students on their communication, physical exam, history taking, and clinical reasoning skills. Before that, she worked at the University of Michigan Law School Admissions Office as the Office Manager and Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Admissions.
Deanna earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Yale University, where she played for the Yale Women’s Rugby Football Club as a prop. She will complete her master’s in management, strategy, and leadership from the Michigan State University Eli Broad College of Business in the spring of 2026. Outside of work, she enjoys creating works of art in various mediums, spending time with her family, and traveling.
