As a first-generation American raised in New York by two hardworking Jamaican immigrants, perseverance and resilience have always been central to my journey. These values guided me through my academic path at Syracuse University, where I majored in Economics and minored in Information Management and Technology. After graduation, they continued to shape my professional experiences—first in FinTech at Bloomberg, where I developed a strong interest in financial technology and data, and then as I pivoted into Fixed Income Investment Management, helping institutional investors navigate complex credit markets during a period of rising interest rates.

Choosing Michigan Ross was a natural next step for me. The school's focus on hands-on learning, particularly in finance, strategy, and entrepreneurship, aligns with my passion for uncovering what makes companies successful and how to value them effectively. What stood out most, however, is the vibrant Ross community.
