I grew up in the great state of Minnesota before heading to Wisconsin for my undergrad at UW Madison where I studied Chemical Engineering. Before coming to Ross, I was working as a process engineer at the HQ of a food and beverage co-manufacturer in Minnesota (I can’t escape the Midwest!) focusing on capital equipment commissioning, scale up, and productivity projects. I've always loved the food industry but wanted to make more of an impact.
I decided to apply to B School after talking with many people who used their MBA to pivot their careers. When I graduated from Madison, I never thought I’d go back to school again! I’m hoping to use my MBA to pivot into strategy/management consulting to gain knowledge and experience across various industries and functions. I chose Ross for my MBA because of the people. After attending the admitted student weekend and meeting prospective students, I knew I had to be here.
I have been vegan for the past seven years and am a big foodie who is very passionate about health and sustainability. I love exploring new restaurants and coffee shops in Ann Arbor. I also have taught group fitness classes (yoga sculpt and cardio kickboxing) at Life Time for the past three years and love staying active whether it's taking a group fitness class at the rec center or going for a run at the Arboretum.
Please reach out if you’d like to chat about any of the above or anything else Ross/MBA related!
