Valuation --- Every major business decision, whether to acquire a competitor, invest in a new venture, or allocate scarce resources, requires a common framework for comparison. Valuation provides that framework. In this case-based course, students learn to value assets, projects, and companies with rigor and confidence. Starting with the foundations of financial analysis and forecasting, students build a valuation toolkit and then apply it across a range of real-world contexts that mirror professional practice. By the end of the course, students will be able to build a complete valuation from the ground up and defend the business decisions it supports.

*Prior to Fall 2014, FIN 415 was called FIN 314.
