Dynamic Power - Unlocking Team Potential --- As leadership teams grapple with the most important decisions for their organization, their ability to leverage, listen to, and integrate different voices in the decision determines the quality of the decision taken and the buy-in it will receive. To do this - to clarify the goal of a decision, to create an environment where all members can listen and share as equals, and then to have a clear, single decision-maker stand up and take a decision requires teams to have dynamic power. In such teams, power can shift among decision-makers based on who knows most AND decision-makers can shift between upshifting their display of power as their team operates more hierarchically and downshifting and minimizing how they show power as their team shares and debates information as equals. When power gets stuck - in one person or in one mode (a rigid hierarchy or chaotic flatness), things go wrong. Helping our teams to make high quality decisions and to achieve their true potential requires more dynamic power. Therefore, in this interactive course, we'll explore how executives can harness this important skill to design and lead high-performing teams in their organizations.
