As the Round 1 decision deadline and Round 2 application deadline approach, many prospective international students naturally begin thinking about career outcomes and recruiting in the United States. I want to assure all of you that you will not be navigating this journey alone. Our amazing Career Development Office provides extensive support, personalized coaching, and resources designed to help you succeed.

In addition, just this Monday, Oct. 20, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services issued clarification on the Presidential H-1B Proclamation. The clarification indicates that the $100,000 fee for new H-1B applications does not apply to individuals who are “change of status.” F-1 students who transition from F-1 to H-1B visas are considered “change of status;” therefore, their H-1B applications are not subject to the fee. This is positive news for current and future students at Michigan Ross. To view the clarification, click here and scroll to “Presidential Proclamation on Restriction on Entry of Certain Nonimmigrant Workers.”

Below are some of the key resources available through our Career Development Office. Most of these resources can be found on the CDO website, which students obtain access to upon matriculation at Ross.
