Lysa is originally from Wuhan, China. She immigrated to the U.S. at the age of six and has since lived in Florida, Georgia, and now Michigan. She has over 11 years of experience in higher education despite starting her career as a pre-med student. Before joining Ross, Lysa spent eight years in Beijing, where she lived and worked, leading international recruitment and engagement strategy for a top-five business school. 

During this period, she also played a key role in managing and establishing nine global dual degree programs. Lysa pursued her MBA during her time abroad and worked for a biotech start-up before returning to admissions, where her passion lies. In her personal life, she enjoys yoga, kickboxing, traveling, trying new cuisines, and spending time with her son, Nathan.
