We work with you from pre-MBA onboarding through your graduation from the Ross School of Business and beyond to ensure you are positioned for long-term career success. Whether you are pivoting industries, accelerating within your current field, or exploring entirely new possibilities, we provide the tools, guidance, and connections to help you navigate your MBA journey with confidence.
Key CDO Resources
Your career preparation begins even before you arrive on campus. Prior to the start of classes, you’ll complete more than 40 hours of structured career preparation, designed to help you build a strong foundation for recruiting. During this time, you will:
- Refine your career interests
- Create a draft of your resume
- Develop key job-search skills
- Build a search strategy
Then, once on campus, you’ll work one-on-one with our professional staff coaches, gain access to 85 trained peer coaches, and engage with our small recruiting prep groups, which are aligned by your career interest and designed to maximize your success in the recruiting journey. You will also have the opportunity to interact with and meet representatives and alumni from hundreds of companies looking to hire Ross talent. These companies span consulting, technology, healthcare, finance, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, retail, and emerging sectors.
