Announcement: We Are Adding a Round 4 to the 2026 Full-Time MBA Admissions Cycle
As some sectors of the job market continue to shift, we’ve heard from you that you may be considering a career pivot. At Michigan Ross, 95% of Full-Time MBA students change functions or industries. Our program is built to support you and provide the skills, experiences, and career support to get you where you want to go.
We know that deciding to pursue an MBA is a big decision, and it takes a lot to pull together all aspects of your application.
To give you more time to apply to the Michigan Ross Full-Time MBA Program, we are adding a Round 4 this year.
Our Round 4 deadline is on April 20, with decisions being shared on May 20.
This additional round gives new applicants a chance to apply, or offers extra time if you’ve already started and just need a few more weeks to refine your essays.
Test Alternatives
If you have a strong quantitative background, you can submit a Statement of Quantitative Academic Readiness for consideration instead of taking a standardized test. We also continue to offer application fee waivers for those who attend our admissions events before applying.
Scholarships in Round 4
Strong applicants from every round, including Round 4, are eligible and considered for merit awards.
Ross leverages merit-based scholarships, and merit is evaluated consistently across all rounds. We want to clear up the misconception that there is no scholarship money remaining in the final rounds of the admissions cycle. Scholarship decisions are not tied to a specific round in a way that disadvantages later applicants — it’s always a good time to apply.
International Applicants
This additional round was also designed to ensure international applicants will still have enough time to secure their visas before the fall. If you’re an international applicant, we encourage you to submit your application if you are interested in joining the Class of 2028.
Connect With Us
There are many upcoming events that highlight our program and offer ample opportunities for you to ask any questions you may have for the admissions team. We will also be hosting open office hours the week of April 13, specifically for Round 4 applicants.
If you’re ready to start your MBA journey this year, we encourage you to submit your application by April 20. If you have questions about Round 4, please reach out to us at [email protected].
