Master of Accounting Student Association

The MAcc Student Association (MSA) encourages camaraderie through informative, philanthropic, and collaborative activities such as intramural sports, celebratory dinners, volunteer outings, and tailgates. All students are eligible to run for the MSA, and can enter by completing our intent-to-run survey. Elections are held at orientation.

One-Year Master's Council 

The One-Year Master's Council consists of the executive members of the Master of Business Analytics, Master of Accounting, Master of Management, and Master of Supply Chain Management student associations, as well as three cross-program chairs who seek to represent the collective one-year master's student population equally in all matters of business. Cross-program chairs include Philanthropy, Athletics, and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). These positions are elected annually at orientation and rotate among the four degree programs.

MAcc Clubs

The purpose of the Aerospace and Defense Club at Ross is to help students break into the world of aviation, space, and national security. We aim to have a community that’s welcoming and ready to help anyone, regardless of their current experience level. Our goal is to make the recruiting process less stressful by sharing insider knowledge, hosting industry speakers, and ensuring everyone has the support they need to land a great role. Whether you’re a former pilot, an engineer, or just someone who thinks rockets and planes are cool, you’ll find a seat at the table here.

The mission of the Ross African Business Club is to enhance the enrollment of African students at the Ross School of Business and provide support for all african students seeking business and career opportunities here in the United States as well as Africa. The group also aims to promote and facilitate networking and culture awareness among Ross alumni, current MBAs, other graduate students and prospective students interested in Africa.

AI Business Group is the only club at the University of Michigan focused on using AI to solve key business problems. We are affiliated with the Ross School of Business and the College of Engineering, providing us with unique access to world-class resources. Members execute projects every semester that have a real-world impact and teach foundational and advanced coding skills needed for an AI-dominated future.

Apex Trading Group (ATG) is a premier investing and trading undergraduate organization at the University of Michigan with an emphasis on portfolio management and professional development. Using our members and alumni base, we provide action-based learning to teach finance at the level required to succeed in the high finance industry and beyond.

The Ross Armed Forces Association's mission is to advance the role of veterans in business through three core initiatives: * Veteran Applicants: Help the highest quality veteran applicants achieve acceptance into the Ross School of Business by aiding each veteran with insight from recent experience. * Lifetime Leadership: Advantage all current Ross students by maintaining an active leadership role and sharing military experience with fellow students immersed in Ross Action Based Learning program. * Veteran Students: Propel each veteran student to success in the private sector through active mentorship, educational resources, and extensive veteran networking.

The Asia Business Conference (ABC) is the longest student-run conference in North America focused on Asia business. For 30 years, the landmark conference has brought leaders of multinational companies and organizations to the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business to discuss issues facing the Asian markets. Some notable speakers from previous conferences included C-level executives at General Motors, Nike, Morgan Stanley, Google, BCG, and Nomura. Through networking sessions and panel discussions, the annual event provides excellent opportunities for attendees to connect with speakers.

We are a group of MBAs who are passionate about diversity and inclusion. Our simple yet unwavering belief is that cultural differences should be celebrated, not ignored. Through our various events and programs, we seek to share and celebrate all cultures, including Asian-American culture, with our members. ACED equips its members with the tools to understand the current business landscape in Asia, delving into how it affects international economies and societies.  We provide education sessions, mentorship programs, social gatherings, and consulting projects to cultivate a community of members who help each other develop personally and professionally.

Business Leaders for Diverse Abilities (BLDA) are business leaders, from the classroom to the boardroom, that look to build community, awareness, and advocacy within the world of business for people with disabilities, people with chronic illness, and neurodivergent folks. Our mission is to increase Ross community awareness of student/staff/faculty/business professionals that identify with a disability/neurodivergence/chronic illness, through thoughtful programming, education, and events.

Our mission is to provide our members with education and employment opportunities in the energy industry that enable them to become leaders of the energy transition. This includes three primary objectives: 1) To promote interest in energy among students and faculty at the Ross School of Business. 2) To provide a forum for students to learn more about opportunities in the energy industry and discuss energy-related topics. 3) To facilitate career development in traditional and renewable energy sectors by mentoring talented students and connecting energy recruiters with these knowledgeable, motivated career seekers.

First-Generation Investment Group (FGIG) is a student-led organization at the University of Michigan dedicated to helping first-generation and socioeconomically underrepresented students break into competitive finance careers. 

We believe that drive, grit, and potential, define success. FGIG hosts weekly meetings that combine technical training, resume and behavioral prep, and case-based discussions designed to equip members with the skills needed for finance roles. 

Equally as important as the education, our goal is to create a supportive community where members motivate each other, share resources and opportunities, and grow together. We are looking for members who will contribute to this mission.

As a student-run organization addressing business, culture and other non-political issues, Greater China Association (GCA) aims to strengthen the bonds among current GCA students, serve as a focal point of communication among GCA alumni and students, promote Greater China's role in world economy and its culture in the Ross community, and promote Ross brand in GC areas to potential applicants.
Mission: The Human Capital Club at the Michigan Business School promotes the understanding and integration of human capital and other organizational strategy issues in business practice through the education and development of its members. Objectives The HCC fulfills its mission by: *Developing and facilitating educational opportunities for its members to learn about organizational strategy and relevant areas of interest, both in theory and practice. *Providing members with career resources to guide them through career development while at Michigan Ross *Establishing a network of resources both within and beyond the university community through which its members may help further professional knowledge and understanding beyond their formal education. *Serving as the conduit between individuals passionate about organizational strategy and faculty, to ensure that the university environment supports engagement in the field throughout the curriculum and campus.
The Indian Subcontinent Business Association is a student club dedicated to helping students of Indian subcontinent origin transition into business school life, promoting awareness about the subcontinent among the larger business school community and encouraging social and professional interaction among students from the subcontinent. The Japan Business Association seeks to promote a deeper understanding of Japanese business culture and practices throughout the Ross community. We aim to build and further the awareness of the Ross MBA in Japan, and to assist both prospective and admitted students in their transition to Ross. As the primary link between the Ross School of Business and the Ross Alumni Club of Japan, we also maintain and develop new networking and professional opportunities for our members, both domestically and internationally.
