2023 Michigan Ross Weekend MBA Grads Earning Promotions and Higher Salaries

2023 Weekend MBA graduates of the Ross School of Business increased their median salary to $162,500, a 16% increase over last year.

The Michigan Ross Weekend MBA Program is a premier path to career advancement, according to the newly released employment report data. Among reporting students, 92% indicated that upon graduation, they received promotions or changed job functions. As a result, the median salary for the Class of 2023 jumped from $140,000 to 162,500. The median signing bonus was steady at $30,000.

Ford Motor Co., McKinsey & Co., IBM, Boston Consulting Group, and PwC rank as the top five companies for Michigan Ross WMBA Class of 2023 graduates. Consulting and manufacturing made up the greatest percentage of jobs (30.5% each), while technology (15.9%) ranked third.

The employment results for this year’s Michigan Ross Weekend MBA graduates are among the best in recent memory.

“Our Weekend MBA students are frequently seeking career acceleration within their present companies, and the Class of 2023 truly excelled. The students leveraged their classroom and Ross community resources into better jobs and higher salaries," Byrne said.

The Michigan Ross Part-Time MBA, which includes the Weekend MBA Program, is ranked No. 7 by U.S. News & World Report, 2024.
