In June, the Ross School of Business welcomed a new cohort of talented students from around the world to its Master of Supply Chain Management Program, which was ranked No. 1 worldwide by QS World University Rankings, 2025.

The Michigan Ross MSCM Class of 2026 comprises 67 students from 35 undergraduate institutions. Fifty percent of the class are women, and the students represent various undergraduate major backgrounds, from business to engineering, computer science, economics, operations, and more. The new class also comes to Michigan Ross with an impressive academic record, with a GPA of 3.66.

This 10-month program gives STEM graduates the chance to pivot into supply chain careers while sharpening their business acumen. From the program's start, students dive into business and supply chain fundamentals, leadership development, and career prep. As the year goes on, they’ll strengthen their management and operations expertise and put their skills to the test through action-based learning projects like the Supply Chain Consulting Studio.

Below, meet four members of the MSCM Class of 2026.

What is your post-graduation career interest?

I’m interested in pursuing a career in industries such as automotive, air transportation, and retail. These fields are rapidly evolving and present exciting opportunities for me to apply the technical and analytical skills I’m learning through the program to strengthen operational capabilities.

Why did you decide to enroll in the Michigan Ross MSCM Program?

My interest in supply chain began in undergrad when I took classes in operations management, which sparked my interest in how goods and services move from ideation to launch. I was able to work on a couple of hands-on projects with real companies, and I really enjoyed the practical application of what I was learning in the classroom. I wanted to build on that foundation, and there’s no better place to do it than at Ross, where the combination of world-class education, emphasis on action-based learning, and personalized career support made it an easy decision.

What strengths/unique perspectives do you bring to your cohort?

As an international student with a background in business analytics, my experience studying and working in multicultural environments has strengthened my ability to collaborate across different perspectives. Applying analytics in real-world consulting projects has also taught me how to bridge technical insights with business strategy, which I look forward to applying to projects here.

What are you most looking forward to in the program and at Ross?

I’m excited for the Supply Chain Consulting Studio, where we’ll work directly with companies to solve complex challenges. I’m also looking forward to exploring electives outside of the core curriculum and growing alongside a diverse cohort that comes from a variety of industries and cultures.

How do you think this experience at Ross will impact your future?

The MSCM Program will equip me with the technical expertise and leadership skills to make a meaningful impact in global supply chains. On top of that, the rigorous coursework and extensive Ross network will be a long-lasting source of guidance and inspiration throughout my career.
