The Ross School of Business Full-Time MBA Program ascended to No. 9 in the 2023-24 Bloomberg Businessweek rankings.

The Michigan Ross Full-Time MBA Program earned the No. 9 ranking among 110 domestic and international peers, according to the 2023-24 Bloomberg Businessweek rankings. A year ago, Michigan Ross was ranked No. 15.

Businessweek surveyed students, alumni, and employers to measure satisfaction with learning, networking, career opportunities, skill development, and more to calculate its ranking. Institutions also submitted data for review.

The No. 9 ranking is the second top-10 laurel to be awarded to the Michigan Ross Full-Time MBA Program this year. In April, U.S. News & World Report slotted Michigan Ross at No. 8.

Year over year, employment data improved in multiple key categories. The percentage of Class of 2022 students employed at graduation rose from 88.2% to 91.8%. Graduates' average starting salary and bonus increased from $171,484 to $182,966.

"We greatly appreciate the recognition of Bloomberg Businessweek that our Full-Time MBA Program has earned its place among the top 10 institutions worldwide," said S. Sriram, associate dean for graduate programs. "This achievement is a testament to the dedication of our faculty and staff to provide our students an environment that inspires innovation, collaboration, and determination. We are proud to see our students and alumni capitalizing upon our action-based learning to become outstanding leaders in the business world."

The Class of 2025 is comprised of 376 students. Seventeen percent of the class are first-generation college students, 43% are international students, and 11% are pursuing a dual degree. The Class of 2025 is represented by 43% women, 43% people of color, 14% domestic students from a military background, and 10% students who identify as LGBTQIA2S+.
