As a great recognition of its quality offerings and industry partnerships, the Ross School of Business is now ranked among the top 3 of global providers for its open enrollment executive education programs, according to a new report released by the Financial Times.

Michigan Ross moved up from No. 4 in 2019 to the No. 3 slot this year for its open enrollment programs. Ross was the highest ranked U.S. business school in 2020 for open enrollment.

In FT’s global executive education ranking, which combines schools’ performance in open enrollment and customized programs, Ross placed No. 7 globally and No. 2 in the U.S. The school was also one of only two U.S. providers to rank in the top 10.

“Michigan Ross continues to place strongly in the Financial Times executive education rankings, and we are thrilled to break into the top 3 for our open enrollment programs this year,” said Melanie Weaver Barnett, chief executive education officer at Michigan Ross. “Consistently being ranked among the most elite business schools for executive education is a testament to the powerful ideas of our faculty, the transformative learning experiences we design based on those ideas, and the leaders who leave our learning experiences and make a significant positive impact on their teams, organizations, and the world.”

To compile the rankings, the Financial Times uses a combination of a variety of factors to determine their list of the world’s best executive education providers, including ratings from corporate clients on program design, teaching methods, faculty, post-program follow-up, aims achieved, value of the program, and an evaluation of new skills learned by course participants.

In 2019, Ross held 111 Executive Education programs in 56 countries, facilitating high-impact learning experiences for thousands of managers and executives for companies, including Dow Chemical Co. and Toyota Motor Corp., among others.

Michigan Ross Executive Education recently added new online courses to its portfolio to provide additional opportunities for leaders to learn and grow from home. The courses are designed to set business professionals and organizations up for success, touching on topics from managing and growing your team to transforming company culture.
