Michigan Ross Joins the Business School Alliance for Health Management

The Ross School of Business is now a member of the Business School Alliance for Health Management (BAHM), an organization that supports business school health management programs and their faculty, students, and graduates in educating the next generation of leaders and advancing thought leadership in the field. 

To become a BAHM member, schools must rank among the world’s top business schools that offer healthcare-related programs, coursework, and research. With the addition of Michigan Ross, BAHM’s membership now includes 19 premier business schools in the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, and Africa. 

“Michigan Ross has increasingly emphasized the importance of healthcare management at a time when healthcare is shaping critical business, political, and policy discussions, and BAHM clearly supports our mission,” said Brad Killaly, associate dean of Full-Time and Global MBA Programs at Michigan Ross. “We seek to provide our MBA students with the skills, knowledge, and real-world experience that they need to be leaders in the dynamic field of healthcare management.” 

Ranked among the top 10 business schools by U.S. News and World Report, Forbes, and The Economist, Ross offers a concentration in healthcare management as well as dual degrees with the university’'s medical school and schools of public health, dentistry, and pharmacy. 

In addition, the school officially rolled out its Pinkert Scholars Program last fall, which provides full-ride scholarships each year to a select group of Ross MBA candidates who are focused on the business of healthcare and healthcare innovation. The program also matches scholars with alumni executives in the healthcare industry with similar interests, and provides healthcare-specific learning experiences and career and professional development opportunities.
