Daksha Tidke
I am a Chartered Accountant (CPA equivalent in the US) from Mumbai, India, and have over four years of experience as a tax consultant at KPMG. During my time there, I worked on due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, which sparked my interest in financial markets and the intricacies of corporate structures. Seeking to expand my understanding, I transitioned to Valorem Advisors, where I worked as an equity research analyst. These roles not only honed my analytical skills but also allowed me to engage with C-suite executives, deepening my curiosity about the internal workings of businesses.
Driven by a desire to gain a more holistic view of business operations, I moved to Unilever, where I collaborated across strategy, marketing, finance, and supply chain functions. This cross-functional exposure solidified my decision to pursue an MBA, particularly to build on my strategic and leadership skills. Ross School of Business stood out due to its strong emphasis on action-based learning and its strong focus on developing a consulting toolkit, aligning perfectly with my career aspirations.
Over the summer, I interned at Cummins as a Corporate Strategy Manager, where I worked on a sustainable fuels go-to-market strategy and conducted market sizing for future growth opportunities. This hands-on experience further strengthened my passion for driving corporate growth through innovative, environmentally conscious solutions.
