Dan Sullivan
I’m coming to Michigan Ross from Houston, TX where I worked for five years managing packaging and brewing teams in Brewery Operations at Anheuser-Busch InBev. While working in the beer industry overseeing daily operations was a fun and challenging experience, I wanted to get closer to making strategic decisions within the Consumer Products industry and explore other industries as well. To make this career change, I chose Ross to pursue my MBA because of its recruiting strength in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Consulting spaces, its highly interactive and global approach to learning, its collaborative culture, and its extensive alumni network. Coming from an undergraduate experience at UT-Austin, I was used to a large school with an iconic football program and was very excited to continue that large, energetic school experience at Michigan.
This past summer, I interned in Consulting at PwC Strategy& in Washington, D.C. where I was able to help a CPG company redesign its organization structure to better meet its cost and revenue growth goals.
In my free time in Ann Arbor I enjoy running at The Arb, cooking for friends, sampling Ann Arbor’s great restaurants and breweries, and going to Michigan football games (including The Bus tailgates). I would love to chat about Ross’ amazing offerings, how a Texan adjusts to Michigan winters, Consulting recruiting, the CPG industry, Ann Arbor, or anything else that will help you in your MBA journey.
