Diego Luna Jacobs

Class of 2025

Before Ross, I spent approximately 6 years working in B2B sales in the construction and energy industries, followed by 3 years of entrepreneurship. I co-founded a construction company and worked there as its CEO. These roles not only improved my leadership skills but also strengthened my passion for working in collaborative environments where success is achieved through teamwork and diverse perspectives. Over time, I realized that while I enjoyed managing operations and driving growth, I wanted to transition from the technical and operational aspects of engineering to a more strategic role. This is why I decided to switch to consulting.

I chose Ross because its action-based learning model resonates with my hands-on approach to problem-solving. The dynamic, collaborative environment at Ross allowed me to enhance my strategic thinking and consulting skills while collaborating with talented peers from diverse backgrounds. I was particularly drawn to Ross for its strong emphasis on community, which I experienced even during the application process. The kindness and support I received from current students and alumni reassured me that Ross is the right place for my personal and professional growth.
